    As part of the ongoing firefighter training, the fire department is building a SCBA competency course. In full firefighter gear (including the air tank), we will have to climb over, under and through an obstacle course complete with ropes to get tangled in, a descending ‘ceiling’, a collapsible floor, and ceiling joists!

  • Going Once, Going Twice….Sold!

    One of Colton’s “can’t miss” events is the annual Volunteer Firefighter Auction and Breakfast. We spent the last few weeks picking up donations and sorting garage sale items in preparation for the big event. We had a good turn out as temperatures soared into the 90’s and raised just over $5,000.
