Flight Home
Even though we weren’t able to fly first class and Jodi was sick, the flight home with Kenzie was very smooth! She fell asleep about 15 minutes after take off and didn’t wake up until after we landed!

Big thanks to Cole, Bryan, and the girls for driving all the way out to meet us for breakfast. Noelle was such a big help when feeding Kenzie!
Not sure if we got lucky, or if Mackenzie simply enjoyed first class as much as we did, but flying with her was a breeze! She slept through take off AND landing (no Benadryl even!) and kept pretty entertained throughout the rest of the flight. I can’t say as much for the screaming child towards the bak (Oh, that is going to be us at least once!)
So far, Kenzie’s first trip to the airport is going very well so far! Now comes the fun part… The plane ride!!
We had to get up early and take pictures before heading to the airport so Kenzie wasn’t quite awake.
One of Kenzie’s favorite activities right now is to tear paper so I brought home this thick packing paper from work… She loved it and it keeps her quite entertained!
Brad has been wanting to host an outdoor movie night for quite a while now so we did a dry run with Kenzie tonight…. Can’t wait to see Finding Nemo or Little Mermaid on the big screen again!
Once a month for about the last 4 years, Jodi usually goes to dinner with a group of ladies known as the ‘Supper Club’. It’s a group organized by our friend and neighbor, Rhonda, and the purpose is to try a new restaurant each month. This month, spouses were invited and we went to a very cool place on the river called the Deck. Just a heads up for all who may be visiting in the spring/summer – we’ll probably take you out to eat here!
We had a doggie door installed so the dogs can go in and out on their own… We got the ‘extra large’ but they still need to work out the timing!
