Spring in Oregon is beautiful with all of the blooming trees….
Porter, Koby, and Dee Dee all enjoyed getting out of the mud and into the new spring grass this weekend. The neighbor cows came over to greet our newest addition.
We wanted to test out our new camper so we took a weekend trip to Astoria…although rainy and cold, we love to be out camping again!
While in Astoria, Jodi couldn’t help but to stop at some of the town’s most famous Goonie spots… Mikey’s Dad’s Museum, the Jail house, Chunk’s Bowling alley, Data’s House, and the Gooney’s house (the last 3 to be posted soon)
This morning Dee Dee gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Porterhouse! Mom wouldn’t let us get too close, but she had to eat sometime and Brad was able to get these pictures. We also had to seperate them for a few minutes so that we could give Porter his first round of baby shots.
Every year our local farm store has an event called Chick Days where they sell many different kinds of chicks… too cute! Last year we limited our purchase to 6 ducks. This year we came away with 12 chicks: 4 Araucana, 2 Silver laced Wyandotte, 3 Leghorns, 3 Buff Orpington.
Cooper LOVES to roll on the ground…just like the dogs. AND, just like the dogs he looks for the nearest mud puddle!
The weather is warming up (about 38 – 40 degrees) and the horses and more than ready to get out of the barn!
We’ve had snow for the last few days…. Morgan just loves to play in the snow!!!
