Day 2 was a lot of walking around and included the Temple of Heaven, lots of little side streets and markets, and finding interesting food.<\/p>\n

Many of the restaurants had these TV screens so that you could watch the activity in the kitchen, I assume so you can be sure things are being prepared in a clean environment?\u00a0<\/p>\n

While in Beijing I had to try Peking duck.\u00a0 After asking for a suggestions from a few people this was consistently said to be the best choice.<\/p>\n

After dinner I took a walk through the open air food market.\u00a0 It was amazing to see what people eat!\u00a0 You can’t see it from the photo obviously, but the little scorpions were still alive and squirming.<\/p>\n
