{"id":10597,"date":"2018-01-20T21:54:43","date_gmt":"2018-01-21T05:54:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jbranchblog.com\/?p=10597"},"modified":"2018-01-20T22:13:26","modified_gmt":"2018-01-21T06:13:26","slug":"zurich-switzerland-day-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jbranchblog.com\/?p=10597","title":{"rendered":"Zurich, Switzerland &#8211; Day 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The flight to Switzerland on Swiss air was an overnight flight but I managed to get a pretty good nights sleep so when I arrived in Zurich I was ready to go out and see some sights.<\/p>\n<p>I rented an Airbnb for this leg of the journey and it was teriffic. Right on the river in Old Town Zurich and a tram stop out front that went direct to the train station to make day trips around the country easier.<\/p>\n<p>My first day in Switzerland I spent just getting the lay of the land and checking out Old Town Zurich. Being in Switzerland I had to try out the local cheese fondue&#8230;it was AMAZING!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jbranchblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/2018-01-10-07.21.44.jpg\"><img
