Her teachers thought she bit her lip since she had a little blood in her mouth. They said she wasn&#8217;t quite herself throughout the day and, when they were having snack in the afternoon, Ms. Shelly noticed that Kenzie had a LARGE cut on her tongue! I picked her up and we went straight to the OHSU emergency department. The doctors said they could either give her 3 stitches (the cut is deep!) or she could go on a liquid diet for 4 days and let it heal; we went with the liquid diet and no stitches!
